Refund & Return Policy (B2B Only)

Effective Date: August 2026

1. Business Customers Only

CC Corrosion Control Ltd. supplies products exclusively to business customers (B2B).

By purchasing products from us, the purchaser confirms that it is acting in the course of its commercial, industrial, trade or professional activities and not as a consumer.

Consumer protection provisions applicable exclusively to consumers, including statutory EU consumer withdrawal rights, do not apply.

2. No General Right of Return or Withdrawal

All sales are final.

There is no general contractual right to cancel an order, return goods, exchange products or receive a refund unless:

expressly agreed in writing by CC Corrosion Control Ltd.; or
required under applicable mandatory law.

Any voluntary acceptance of a return by CC Corrosion Control Ltd. does not create a general right of return for current or future orders.

3. Inspection and Claims

The purchaser shall inspect the goods promptly following receipt.

Visible damage, incorrect products, quantity discrepancies or other apparent defects should be reported to CC Corrosion Control Ltd.:

within 48 hours of receipt;
by email to info@corrosionx.eu; and
together with photographs and supporting documentation where reasonably possible.

Hidden defects must be reported promptly after discovery.

Failure to provide timely notification may affect the purchaser's contractual remedies to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in this Policy excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

4. Transport Damage

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, products are supplied EXW (Ex Works) from the warehouse specified by CC Corrosion Control Ltd. in Germany or the Netherlands – Incoterms® 2020.

Risk passes to the purchaser in accordance with the agreed EXW delivery term.

The purchaser is therefore responsible for inspecting shipments for transport damage and, where appropriate, making claims against the carrier or transport insurer appointed by or on behalf of the purchaser.

Where CC Corrosion Control Ltd. has assisted with transportation arrangements, such assistance does not by itself alter the agreed EXW delivery term unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

5. Return Authorization

No goods may be returned without prior written authorization from CC Corrosion Control Ltd.

Where a return is approved, CC Corrosion Control Ltd. may issue return instructions and/or a Return Authorization (RA).

Unauthorized returns may be refused.

The purchaser must follow all return instructions provided by CC Corrosion Control Ltd.

6. Dangerous Goods Returns

Certain products supplied by CC Corrosion Control Ltd. may be classified as Dangerous Goods.

Where returned goods are classified as Dangerous Goods, all applicable transport requirements must be observed, including where relevant:

ADR;
RID;
IMDG;
IATA; and
applicable national Dangerous Goods legislation.

The purchaser shall not dispatch Dangerous Goods for return without prior written authorization and appropriate transport arrangements.

Where return transportation is arranged by or on behalf of the purchaser, the purchaser is responsible for ensuring proper:

classification;
packaging;
marking and labelling;
documentation; and
use of appropriately qualified and authorized carriers.

CC Corrosion Control Ltd. reserves the right to refuse any proposed return arrangement that does not comply with applicable Dangerous Goods or transport requirements.

7. Return Costs and Risk

Where a return is voluntarily accepted by CC Corrosion Control Ltd. and is not the result of a defect, incorrect delivery or another circumstance for which CC Corrosion Control Ltd. is legally responsible, the purchaser shall bear all associated costs and risks, including where applicable:

transportation;
Dangerous Goods surcharges;
packaging;
insurance;
customs or import charges; and
additional handling costs.

Where CC Corrosion Control Ltd. accepts responsibility for a defect, incorrect delivery or other claim, return arrangements and responsibility for reasonable return costs will be determined by CC Corrosion Control Ltd. in accordance with applicable law.

The purchaser must not independently arrange a chargeable return at the expense of CC Corrosion Control Ltd. without prior written approval.

8. Condition of Voluntarily Returned Goods

Unless the return concerns defective or incorrectly supplied goods, approved returns must normally be:

unused;
unopened where applicable;
in their original packaging;
complete; and
in a condition suitable for resale.

Products that have been opened, used, contaminated, improperly stored, damaged or modified may be refused.

All returns must comply with applicable transport and Dangerous Goods requirements.

9. Inspection, Replacement, Credit and Refund

All authorized returns will be inspected upon receipt.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, CC Corrosion Control Ltd. may:

replace the product;
correct the delivery;
issue a credit note;
issue a refund; or
agree another appropriate remedy.

For voluntary returns that do not result from a defect or incorrect delivery, any refund or credit is subject to prior agreement and may be reduced by reasonable handling, inspection, repackaging or other costs incurred by CC Corrosion Control Ltd.

Original transportation or other third-party costs are not refundable unless CC Corrosion Control Ltd. is legally responsible for those costs or expressly agrees otherwise.

10. Improper Handling and Unauthorized Returns

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CC Corrosion Control Ltd. shall not be responsible for loss, damage, penalties or additional costs resulting from:

unauthorized return shipments;
improper packaging or labelling;
failure to comply with Dangerous Goods requirements;
improper transportation;
improper storage or handling;
unauthorized modification of products; or
failure to follow applicable Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Technical Data Sheets (TDS), product labels or safety instructions.

11. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the purchaser shall indemnify and hold harmless CC Corrosion Control Ltd., its directors, officers and employees against third-party claims, fines, penalties, losses, costs and reasonable legal expenses resulting from:

unauthorized or improper return transportation;
violation of Dangerous Goods regulations by or on behalf of the purchaser;
improper packaging, labelling, storage or handling by the purchaser;
unauthorized modification of the products; or
other acts or omissions for which the purchaser is legally responsible.

This provision applies only to the extent that the relevant claim, loss or liability is attributable to an act or omission for which the purchaser is legally responsible.

12. Relationship with our Terms and Conditions

This Refund & Return Policy forms part of and should be read together with the CC Corrosion Control Ltd. Terms and Conditions of Sale (B2B) and our Shipping and Delivery Policy (B2B Only).

In the event of a conflict, the Terms and Conditions of Sale and any individually agreed written terms applicable to the particular transaction shall take precedence.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Policy and any contractual relationship to which it applies shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, subject to mandatory provisions of applicable law.

The courts of the Republic of Cyprus shall have jurisdiction to the extent such jurisdiction agreement is legally permissible.
